I Resign, and encourage all women to do the same.

I am going to practice extreme non-compliance.

(Or perhaps, a malicious form of extreme compliance?)

In short, I fire myself from life.

I fire myself from the need to make others happy,

from the need for customer service,

the girlfriending,

the momming,

the daughtering,

the housekeeping,

the making of money,

everything.

I fire myself from smiling.

I fire myself from exhibiting excitement or planning anything for holidays,

including birthdays.

I can't be trusted with something like that.

I fire myself from cleaning up after anyone, maybe even after myself.

I fire myself from your good so that maybe I can find my own.

I fire myself from life and society.

To those I love, I'm sorry.
