Have you been inundated with the Tuttle Twins lately? [1]

I’ve been seeing these Tuttle Twins books and now TV shows for kids advertised lately in multiple media platforms, including my email. From the first I heard of it I’ve been pretty concerned. Further search shows my concern is not unfounded. One big clue this is so heinous was that Glen Peckerhead — er Beck — promotes them. These books/programs teach kids to hate socialism which we all know is RWNJ speak for all liberals. These and more of their “values” are aimed at children 5-12 yrs old, and I suspect their stoopid non-thinking parents are getting “educated” as well.

I would like to know how many schools have replaced truly valuable and critical thinking books with books like this — especially states like TX, FL and MO where burning (A.K.A. banning) books the evangelicals don’t like is celebrated. I would like to know if the subject is even discussed at the meetings about which books are appropriate for their shelves. If you did a Google search for “Tuttle Twins” you would have to go to the bottom of the list before finding anything remotely critical of this series down to get to some of the insidious truth behind these books like this. There is a pretty good and in depth review at this site, but I wasn’t able to find the author’s name. I admit I probably would have if I examined the website more carefully.

I would like to know how to get the word out that subjecting your child to these is doing what you’ve been so incensed about, screaming “indoctrination” at every drop of a hat. Yes, this is yet another example of pointing fingers at your opponent and vilifying them for doing exactly what you are doing. We must expose them, but how?
