At the beginning of March, Cuba reports more than 400,000 people affected by the hydrological drought. Currently, 300 pumping stations are partially or totally affected.

The provinces with the greatest deficits in their reserves are: Guantánamo, Santiago de Cuba, Holguín, Las Tunas, Camagüey and Havana. One of the municipalities with complex situations is Trinidad, in Sancti Spíritus.
