Evaluate contributions of the cooperative sector in the current sugar harvest – Canal Caribe

In the current Sugar Harvest, the peasant cooperative sector in the country is responsible for contributing more than two million seven hundred thousand tons of cane.

The National President of ANAP, Rafael Santiesteban Pozo, toured several cane plantations in Santiago de Cuba. In his exchange with the cooperative members, he urged them to comply with the sugar and food production programs, and to increase the productive chains.

He also discussed the impacts of the recently adopted organizational measures and everything that can be done based on the country’s economy.
