Cuban Academy of Sciences on its 60th anniversary – Canal Caribe

The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, congratulated, this Sunday, the Academy of Sciences of the nation for its 60th anniversary.

In his twitter account, the president highlighted that the Cuban Academy of Sciences reaches its 60th anniversary immersed in the tremendous challenge of promoting scientific research with an innovative approach.

Díaz-Canel congratulated the members of that institution, adding that the country continues to count on them to solve the most immediate problems.

The Academy of Sciences currently has a group of more than 400 personalities linked to different branches of science such as biomedicine, agriculture and technology, among others.
