Commemoration of the 88th anniversary of the death of Sandino in Nicaragua – Canal Caribe

The Nicaraguan Anti-Imperialist Network of Solidarity with the Peoples “Augusto Cesar Sandino”, commemorated the 88th anniversary of the death of that patriot known as General of Free Men and Women.

Sandno led his country’s resistance against the American invaders at the beginning of the 20th century and celebrated the victorious and invincible continuity of the Cuban Revolution.

Through a statement, the group recognized the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on Cuba by the United States as a crime against citizenship and a measure that separates families and imposes limits on access to basic supplies for their survival.

The signatories demanded the end of this unilateral aggression and supported the path of dignity followed by the largest of the Antilles.
