On January 11th, 2002, the first detainees of the so-called war against terrorism launched by then President George W. Bush, the son, after the September 11th attacks, arrived in the territory illegally occupied by the United States in Guantánamo.
Twenty years of scandals over allegations of torture have not yet ended because some thirty prisoners are still being held there.
