Hindering the sending of remittances to the island is part of the 4th generation war that the United States carries out against Cuba.

They propagate the most perfidious pretexts in social networks, among these, that the recipients do not benefit, that an onerous tax is imposed or that military institutions are favored with the banking transaction.

Those who seek to impose this matrix of opinion hide the true role of remittances in the world economy. Just to give one example, a recent World Bank report reveals that Mexico received 52 BILLION dollars in the past year, while Cuba does not reach 5% percent of that figure.

The flow of remittances to the island has been restricted, due to the Trump administration ending relations between the Western Union and the Cuban financial institutions in charge of processing the shipments.
