Faced with a 35% drop in foreign direct investment flows worldwide, the Mariel Special Development Zone reaffirms itself as the largest industrial, logistics and service platform in Cuba with capital from 21 countries.

The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, recently opened the Biotechnological Industrial Complex, “GIGB Mariel”. Special until 2042, and its committed investment amount, are reasons to look to the future.
