President of Cuba heads meeting with scientists and experts to confront COVID-19 – Canal Caribe

A new meeting with scientists and experts who have been facing COVID-19 with their knowledge for almost two years, was held this Tuesday by the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.

During the meeting, which was also attended by the Vice Prime Minister, Inés María Chapman, the experts agreed that the country has reached the peak of the current wave of infections. Likewise, they insisted that in order to control the disease, it is necessary to advance in vaccination with the booster dose.
