[]
Date: 2022-01
On January 23rd, 1959, a crowd received in Venezuela the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro… He was the first abroad, after the rebel victory.
From the Plaza del Silencio in Caracas, Fidel raised the flags of solidarity and shared struggle, while recounting, for two hours, the right to apply revolutionary justice.
The feeling of gratitude and reciprocity towards the Homeland of Bolívar was the main reason for the visit.
Sixty-three years after this momentous event, Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz recalled the words of the eternal Commander in Chief, who outlined, for the revolutionaries, the enduring task of dedicating their lives to the cause of the peoples, to the cause of the revolution of the peoples, to the full redemption of the oppressed and exploited peoples
