Cuba reports 2,967 new cases of COVID-19 and three deaths – Canal Caribe

The Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) reported that at the end of January 18, Cuba reported 2,967 new cases of COVID-19 and 3 deceased patients.

For the diagnosis of the disease, a total of 32 thousand 409 samples were made. The provinces with the highest number of cases are Holguín with 485, Las Tunas registered 267 cases and Sancti Spíritus 216 infected.

On the day, 3,338 discharges were granted and 42 confirmed patients are treated in intensive care, of which 12 are critical and 30 are seriously ill.
