Covid-19 digital passport in test phase in Cuba – Canal Caribe

In several European nations, the use of a Covid digital certificate has been approved, which functions as a special passport for health control at borders, and even to regulate access to certain public places.

It specifies whether the person has been vaccinated, the results of the PCR performed, among other details. This device will enter into force in Europe on July 1, with the aim of speeding up the procedures to regain mobility.

Cuba has not been left behind, and develops its own digital passport or Covid vaccination certificate. It has been created by specialists from the University of Informatics Sciences, the UCI.
