Caravan of Freedom will arrive this Tuesday in Camagüey – Canal Caribe

After the tour of eastern Cuba, the reissue of the Caravan of Freedom will arrive in the city of Camagüey on Tuesday afternoon, where it will be received in the Plaza de la Libertad. According to Kely Álvarez, first secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Union of Young Communists, around two in the afternoon the relay of the caravanners from Las Tunas will take place, in the Constitution Park, in the municipality of Guáimaro.

In the Agramontino territory, outstanding young people in student organizations, artists, scientists, athletes, peasants and combatants will participate in the symbolic event.

The historic caravan, which 63 years ago was led by Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz and guerrillas from the Rebel Army, will walk through the central streets of Camagüey this afternoon and, as on that occasion, will receive the affection of the people.
