The proposal for digital transformation in Cuba centered the debates of the session of the National Innovation Council, corresponding to the month of December, a meeting where scientists, experts, businessmen and representatives of the public administration analyze new and important ideas to promote innovation policies.

The exchange was presided over by the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez; the Member of the Political Bureau and Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, Álvaro López Miera; and Vice Prime Ministers Alejandro Gil Fernández, Inés María Chapman and Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella.
