Cuba reports 128 new positive cases to COVID-19 and one deceased – Canal Caribe

The Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) reported this Monday that Cuba at the close of this Sunday, December 26, confirmed 128 positive cases for COVID-19, one death and 63 medical discharges. According to the MINSAP, 17,176 samples were processed in the country’s molecular biology laboratories for the diagnosis of COVID-19.

The provinces that reported the highest number of infected are Havana with 34 cases, Camagüey with 20 and Pinar del Río with 17. Of the 128 cases detected, 104 were contacts of confirmed cases, 18 with a source of infection abroad and 6 without a source of infection required. In intensive therapies, 11 patients were treated, 4 of them critical and 7 serious.
