Cuba reports 104 cases of COVID-19 and one deceased – Canal Caribe

At the close of this Sunday, December 5, 3,108 patients were admitted, 2,483 suspects, 92 under surveillance and 533 confirmed active.

For COVID-19, a total of 17,594 samples were taken for surveillance during the day, with 104 being positive. The country accumulates 11,219,671 samples carried out and 963,194 positive.

Of the total cases (104): 90 were contacts of confirmed cases; 9 with a source of infection abroad; 5 without a specified source of infection.Of the female sex 56 and of the male sex 48.25.0% (26) were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 132 thousand 677 that represents 13.8% of those confirmed to date.

They belong to the age groups: under 20 years old (12), from 20 to 39 years old (24), from 40 to 59 years old (37), 60 and over (31).
