Number of confirmed cases of coronavirus dropped for 3 consecutive days

We are now monitoring the coronavirus epidemic that affects China and has spread to 25 other countries. So far the total number of confirmed cases in the Asian giant exceeds 70 thousand and more than 1,700 people have died, while more than 10,000 recover. The majority of patients, or more than 58,000, are in Hubei province, and 70 percent are in Wuhan, where the virus originated. A positive fact is that the number of new confirmed cases fell throughout China for three consecutive days.

In the other 25 countries, there are more 680 confirmed cases to date. The Philippines, Japan and France registered one death each, while 70 more cases were confirmed in the quarantine cruise in the Japanese city of Yokohama, so that the total number of people affected on board amounts to 355, representing the highest number of Infected outside of China. The Japanese Government decided to examine all the people on board.

The Diamond Princess has been immobilized in the port of Yokohama since February 5. Meanwhile, on Monday, February 17, a total of 1,200 health professionals arrived in Wuhan, who form the second reinforcement group of the 2,600 doctors sent by the Chinese armed forces, to help control the epidemic.
