Cuba: Matanzas celebrates its 326 anniversary in solemn assembly

With the presence of Esteban Lazo Hernández, President of the National Assembly of Popular Power and the Council of State, the solemn session of the Municipal Assembly of the Popular Power of Matanzas was held, to celebrate the 326 anniversary of the founding of the Yumurine city.

During the appointment, headed by the president of the Municipal Assembly of Popular Power Yosiel Landín Gamazo, they recognized the relevant work of personalities of the political and social life of Matanzas with Distinction 325, Symbol of the city and the scrolls of Illustrious Son and Son Adoptive.

The companion Teresa Rojas Monzón received a special recognition for her contribution to the development of the Athens of Cuba. The provincial radio station Radio 26 obtained the entertainment for the 60 years of uninterrupted work.

Once the conclave was concluded, Lazo Hernández inaugurated the Libertad cremería.

The president of the National Assembly of Popular Power, said he was proud to be a Matanzas and urged workers to achieve a service with quality, efficiency and culture of detail.
