Cuba confirms 1,012 new cases of COVID-19

Of the total number of cases (1012): 926 were contacts of confirmed cases; 34 with a source of infection abroad; 52 on the day without a specified source of infection.

Of the 1012 diagnosed cases, 442 were female and 570 male. 50.8% (514) of the 1012 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 14,974, representing 56.1% of those confirmed to date.

Of the total number of cases of the day (1012), 90 are linked to international travelers. The 1012 diagnosed cases belong to the age groups: under 20 years old, 105, from 20 to 39 years old 416, from 40 to 59 years old 323, and over 60 years old, 168.
