The Russian University (Gubkin) interested in the exchange with Cuban institutions

The Russian State University of Petroleum and Gas (Gubkin) shows interest in establishing contacts with Cuban institutions of higher education, according to one of its representatives in this capital.
Anatoly Zolotukhin, director of Gubkin, expressed his decision to hold meetings with national scientific centers of this type, said the Master in Science Valia Suárez Leyva, Chief of Protocol of the Organizing Committee of the VIII Earth Science Convention.
He indicated that in compliance with his proposal, tomorrow he will have a meeting with the Board of Directors of the Cuban Society of Geology (SCG), and representatives of the Higher Metallurgical Mining Institute of Moa, Doctor Antonio Núñez Jiménez, located in the province of Holguín.

Also with the Technological University of Havana José Antonio Echeverría (CUJAE) and the University of Pinar del Río Hermanos Saíz Montes de Oca, as well as with the Academy of Sciences of Cuba.
Anatoly Zolotukhin is one of the personalities invited to the VIII Earth Science Convention, which will be held at the Havana Convention Center until next Friday, with the presence of more than 900 professionals, technicians and managers from 26 countries.
They are also, among others, Tor Fjaeran, President of the World Petroleum Organization, his colleague Pierce Riemer; and Robbie Rice Gries, President of the American Geological Society and Priority Oil & Gas, United States.
The Russian State University of Petroleum and Gas (Gubkin) trains students since 1930 and foreign since 1947, of which more than five thousand graduates are currently employed in 114 countries, according to specialized sources.
