President of Cuba talks with prestigious intellectuals of the Island

The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the PCC and President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, in dialogue this week with prestigious Cuban intellectuals, insisted on the need to transform the country’s cultural institutions, a claim of writers and artists in the last congress of the UNEAC.

The meeting, held at the Palace of the Revolution, was attended by the member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee and Head of its Ideological Department Rogelio Polanco Fuentes, the Deputy Prime Minister Inés María Chapman Waugh and the head of Culture Alpidio Alonso Grau.
