With the participation of experts from 21 nations, the XV International Conference on Sugar and Derivatives (Diversification 2019) begins this Monday in Havana. In the appointment will be presented about 200 papers on the most innovative aspects of this agro-industry

Business Forum and Portfolio of Opportunities The event includes the realization of a business forum, in which they will present the portfolio of opportunities of the Azucarero Azcuba Group in 2019-2020, and the program of construction of bioelectric plants. The inaugural session of Diversification 2019 includes a keynote address by the executive director of the International Sugar Organization, José Orive, on climate change and the sugar industry. Topics such as animal feed, the environment, energy, genetics of sugarcane, bioproducts and South-South cooperation, among others, are on the agenda of the conclave.
