Cuban arts at the Kennedy Centre

About 400 artists will take part in the great festival ¨Arts of Cuba¨ at the John Kennedy Centre for Scenic Arts, in the United States.

From May 8th and until June 3rd one of the spaces of that constitution will welcome several exponents of the Cuban Art as part of the greatest event ever celebrated in that country to honor the Cuban culture. So it was confirmed to Prensa Latina by director of the International Program Gilda Almeida, who considered the attendants to the festival baptized as ¨Arts of Cuba: from the island to the world¨ will have the unique opportunity to know the best of the greatest of the West Indies in theater, music, cinema, dance, and visual arts. The opening of the festival will be in charge of Omara Portuondo and the pianists Rolando Luna and Aldo Lopez Gavilán among other guests.
