Cuba reports 9 new positive cases to COVID-19, 3 are imported

At the close of yesterday, July 24, 226 patients are admitted to hospitals for clinical epidemiological surveillance. Another 320 people are monitored in primary health care. For COVID-19, 3,126 samples were studied, resulting in nine positive samples. The country accumulates 244 thousand 020 samples and 2 thousand 478 positive (1.02%).
Therefore, at the close of yesterday, nine new cases were confirmed, with a cumulative of 2,478 in the country. The nine diagnosed cases are Cuban. Of these, four (44.4%) were contacts of confirmed cases, two (22.2%) did not specify the source of infection and three (33.3%) had a source of infection abroad.
Of the nine confirmed cases, three (33.3%) were men and six women. The affected age groups were: 20 to 40 years old with five cases (55.5%), 41 to 60 years old with three (33.3%) and over 60 years old with one case (11.1%). 11.1% (one) was asymptomatic.
