Cuba reports 2,945 cases of Covid-19 and 40 deaths

At the close of this Sunday, October 10, Cuba reported 2,945 new cases of COVID-19, for an accumulated of 921,328 since March 2020, and 40 deaths, informed this Monday in his daily appearance Dr. Francisco Durán García, National Director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap).
“It is the lowest figure since June 30,” said Durán García and indicated that this is due, among other factors, to the vaccination carried out throughout the country.
There are 40,061 patients admitted for clinical epidemiological surveillance, 21,085 suspects, 2,832 in surveillance and 16,144 confirmed active.
For COVID-19, 32,049 samples were studied, with 2,945 being positive (659 less than yesterday). The country accumulates 9,994,744 samples made and 921,328 positive (9.2%).
