Until the first day of April, 2,320 patients have been admitted to Cuba, of them 1,384 suspects and 213 confirmed. Another 25 thousand 920 people are monitored in their homes, from the Primary Health Care.

For COVID-19, 576 cases were studied yesterday, with 21 samples being positive. The country accumulates 3,342 samples made and 233 positive. Therefore, at the close of yesterday, 21 new cases were confirmed, for a cumulative 233 in the country. Of the 21 confirmed cases, 20 Cubans and one foreigner (from China) were diagnosed. Of the 20 Cubans diagnosed, two have a source of infection abroad: Spain and Dubai (one each), 13 were contacts of confirmed cases and five were contacts of travelers from abroad.

On the 29th she was remitted and admitted asymptomatic, for isolation in the Hospital “León Cuervo Rubio”. 69-year-old Cuban citizen, resident in Arroyo Naranjo, Havana province. He arrived in the country on March 19 from Spain. 24-year-old Cuban citizen, resident in the Cerro municipality, Havana province. He arrived in the country on March 28 from Dubai.Upon arrival at the Villa Panamericana Isolation Center, respiratory symptoms were detected, being remitted and admitted to the “Luis Díaz Soto” Hospital. Maintains satisfactory evolution so far. 15 contacts of this patient are under surveillance.

42-year-old Cuban citizen, resident in Centro Habana, Havana province. In the last 14 days, he maintained contact with a traveler from Lombardy, Italy. He began with symptoms on March 21, was remitted and admitted to the “Luis Díaz Soto” Hospital. Maintains satisfactory evolution so far. 15 contacts of this patient are under surveillance. 3-year-old Cuban citizen, resident in Jagüey Grande, Matanzas province. She started with symptoms on the 26th, she was admitted on the 27th to the “Ambrosio Grillo” Hospital. Maintains satisfactory evolution so far. 14 contacts of this patient are under surveillance.

79-year-old Cuban citizen, resident in the Santiago de Cuba municipality, province of the same name. It is contact of two previously confirmed cases. On the 29th, she was admitted asymptomatic to the “Ambrosio Grillo” Hospital. Maintains satisfactory evolution so far. 5 contacts of this patient are under surveillance. Of the 233 patients diagnosed with the disease, 206 present stable clinical evolution. Six deaths are reported, one evacuated and 13 discharges, a new discharge yesterday. Five patients are reported in critical condition and two in serious condition.Critically ill patients reported: 53-year-old Cuban citizen who arrived in the country on March 14. She started with symptoms on March 23, being admitted on March 24 at the “Manuel Piti Fajardo” Hospital, in Villa Clara, with a history of diabetes mellitus. She was transferred to Intensive Therapy on the 27th due to respiratory distress, she remained ventilated. It is still reported in critical condition.

71-year-old Cuban citizen from Sancti Spíritus and admitted to the “Manuel Piti Fajardo” Hospital in Villa Clara. He arrived from Spain on March 20 and started with symptoms on the 21st. He has presented clinical and radiographic worsening, as well as myocarditis with pericardial effusion. It is still reported in critical condition.

49-year-old Cuban citizen, resident in the Taguasco municipality, Sancti Spíritus. You have a history of high blood pressure. On March 17 he arrived from the Dominican Republic. He started with symptoms on the 21st and was admitted to the “Manuel Piti Fajardo” Hospital in the Villa Cara province. It evolves with pneumonic injury and respiratory distress. Still reported in critical condition.

70-year-old Cuban citizen. He contacted personnel from Spain. He started with the symptoms on March 20 and was admitted to the “Luis Díaz Soto” Hospital as a suspected case. He entered intensive care on day 29 with a picture of acute respiratory failure, with respiratory distress. Still reported in critical condition.83-year-old Cuban citizen, resident in Spain. He arrived from Spain on March 6, started with symptoms on March 25, and was admitted to the IPK. He was transferred to intensive care due to a respiratory distress, and his condition has worsened. Patients reported in serious condition: 72-year-old French citizen, admitted to the Hospital “Mario Muñoz Monroy”, in Matanzas. He has a history of diabetes mellitus, high blood pressure, ischemic heart disease, and chronic atrial fibrillation. Still reported in serious condition.

68-year-old Cuban citizen, resident in the United States. She arrived in the country on March 22, started with symptoms on March 26, and was admitted to the IPK. He has a history of diabetes mellitus, high blood pressure, and cardiac arrhythmia. Has respiratory distress. It is reported in serious condition.

The 39-year-old patient, positive for COVID-19, index case of event number two of the Camilo Cienfuegos community in Consolación del Sur, Pinar del Río province, who was admitted to the “León Cuervo” Hospital, was discharged Blond”.
