The president of the United States, Donald Trump, will hold a campaign rally in Manchester, New Hampshire, where the presence of thousands of followers is expected, while critics of his policies foresee protesting against him.

Trump will celebrate his first act of that kind in the so-called granite state since the 2016 elections, when former Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton surpassed the Republican president by a narrow margin in that territory.

Local authorities expect that some 11,000 spectators will gather at the SNHU Arena for the event that will take place at 7:00 p.m. local time, while hundreds of Democratic activists signed up to demonstrate against the head of the White House in the outside the place, the Boston Herald reported.

The Republican ruler must address in that appearance some of his most common issues, including those related to immigration and the state of the economy, while surely seizing the opportunity to lash out against his rivals in the blue party.

The Hill publication announced that Corey Lewandowski, who was Trump’s campaign director, should join the president tonight at the New Hampshire event tonight, when there is speculation that he will seek to be nominated for the Senate by that state.

According to the media, it is rumored in Washington DC that Trump could use that concentration of supporters to support or encourage a possible electoral career of Lewandowski, who would try to win the seat currently occupied by Democratic Senator Jeanne Shaheen.

The day before, on the occasion of the rally scheduled for Thursday, 20 aspiring Democrats to the White House issued a joint statement in which they said they condemn the rhetoric of hatred of the head of state.

“The presidency of Donald Trump has been defined by broken promises, rhetoric of hatred and putting himself on the side of lobbyists and the richest one percent at the expense of everyone else. This week, when I come to New Hampshire, we expect more of the same, ”they said.

All New Hampshire residents should have access to affordable medical care, children should not fear for their lives when they go to school and the economy should work for everyone, not just for those at the top, they said.
