Third day of Swedish culture takes place in Cuba

On cinema, visual arts, conceptual photography, dance and other genres of the Nordic tuning fork, the third day of Swedish culture in Cuba takes place, as a bond of fraternity between the two nations.
Merciful Samaritan Sample of Elisabeth Ohlson’s photography conceptual exhibition Highlights among the proposals, the Swedish Film Week, from October 2 to 6, with the screening of the film Knowing Astrid, by director Pernille Fischer, which recounts the life of the writer Astrid Lindgren, winner of the Hans Christian literature prize Andersen and creator of the well-known character Pippi Long socks.
The Cuban Art Factory (FAC) is the setting for the pictorial exhibition of the artist Ola Kalnins; as well as the exhibition Luz de La Habana, by the Swedish photographer Håkan Moberg, as a tribute to the Cuban capital on the 500th anniversary of its foundation, from October 3. The cast of the Memory Wax ensemble from Sweden and the Cuban company Danza-Teatro Retazos will present a new play on October 24. Likewise, the FAC will host the presentation of the opera The Anonymous Lover, by composer Joseph Chevalier, with the participation of Swedish soprano Charlotta Huldt and Cuban lyric singers alongside a violin musical ensemble.
