Díaz-Canel attends tribute for the Day of the Cuban Archivist

The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, attended this morning the event for the Day of the Cuban Arhivist, held in the Main Hall of the University of Havana.

In honor of the event and in compliance with an indication by Díaz-Canel, specialists with greater dedication and results were encouraged to conserve and disseminate the documentary heritage of the Cuban nation.

The Day of the Cuban Archivist, is celebrated every November 3, in commemoration of the official appointment of the Captain of the Liberating Army, Joaquín Llaverías Martínez as Director of the National Archive.
