Cuban women’s volleyball team lost to Argentina in Pan American Cup qualification

The Cuban women’s team of Volleyball yielded against Argentina in five sets and totaled only one victory in the qualifying stage of the Pan American Cup.

The Antilleans have only the option of fighting to discuss the seventh place of the tournament after a victory against the weak set of Guatemala and setbacks against the Dominican Republic, Canada, Peru and Argentina on yesterday’s date. The latter was a disputed game that ended in 5 sets favorable to the South Americans to win in tie break with a score of 15-10, which gave them the pass to the quarterfinals.

The opposite Argentine Lucia Fresco was the top scorer of the game to accumulate 29 units. This Thursday will be general rest and Cuba will move to the city of Chiclayo to discuss the posts from 7 to 10.
