China makes a grant to Bolivia of new military equipment

The government of China granted to the Bolivia´s army new military equipment in a ceremony made in La Paz with the presence of the President of the Amazonian nation and the defense minister Javier Zavaleta.

The lot is compound by ten vehicles of personnel transportation, 536 night visors, 4 water purifiers and 10 cisterns for the military use and rescue support. The ambassador of China in Bolivia, Liang Yu, outlined the importance of the strategic links between the two countries. Meanwhile he highlighted the will of both parts to go deeper in the nexus.

On the other hand, Morales defended to narrow relationship with the Asiatic Potency. Beijing offered help to the Bolivia army without any condition, emphasized the dignitary who considers the Asiatic nation as an geopolitical allied of his country and believes that the presence of China in Latin America will impulse the development of the region.

The general commander of the Bolivia Army, William Kaliman, has highlighted the importance of the Chinese grant and has praised the efforts of the chief of government of the country to narrow the strategic relationship with the Chinese giant.

The Bolivian chief considers China as an geopolitical allied of Bolivia and believes that the presence of China in Latin America will impulse the development in the region and breaks with the traditional domain of the U.S in the zone, which in an erroneous way sees Latin America as its backyard.

Morales arrived in China intending to strengthen the economic nexus and work in the strategic arena in this country. The Bolivian state which takes the seat of non permanent member in the Security Council of the U.N cooperates with Russia and China in the world decisions in matters of International politics.
