The second secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, José Ramón Machado Ventura, called for increasing agricultural production with more own resources and less imports, during the XII Provincial Assembly of the National Association of Small Farmers, ANAP, held in Sancti Spíritus.

The meeting was also attended by the member of the secretariat of the Central Committee of the José Ramón Monteagudo Ruiz Party, and the Deputy Prime Minister Jorge Luis Tapia Fonseca.
