Condemns ALBA-TCP interference by the US government in Nicaragua

The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP)condemned on Wednesday the approval, by the United States Congress, of Nicaragua’s Investment and Conditionality Law, known as the Nica Act.

The regional bloc reiterated its “strongest condemnation of the violation of the most elementary norms of International Law and of the Charter of the UnitedNations.”

The document also warns of the abuses perpetrated by the Donald Trump administration in an attempt to strangle economic processes and democracy in Nicaragua.
