COVID-19 cases increase due to prevalence of Delta variant

DESCRIPTION: Chile has registered, to date, more than 45,700 deaths from COVID 19. According to the Ministry of Health of that nation, around 10,300 patients had NOT performed PCR but presented all the symptoms of the disease.

The Uruguayan Ministry of Public Health confirmed today the contagion of at least 43 people with the Delta variant. Public Health authorities expect that in the coming days the total number of infected will increase. For its part, China predicted a risk of spreading the virus in the short term. In the Asian nation, 328 new autochthonous cases were reported in July, a figure much higher than in previous months.
