Cuba reports 8 312 cases of Covid-19 and 85 deaths

The national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba, Dr. Francisco Durán, reported this Friday 85 deaths and 8 312 positive samples for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, for a cumulative of 500 thousand 216 diagnoses from the beginning disease in the nation.
During his usual press conference, the specialist reported that at the close of Thursday, 95,237 patients were admitted, of them 46,753 suspects, 4,453 in epidemiological surveillance and 44,031 confirmed assets.
Durán explained that the country analyzed 45,581 samples the day before for a cumulative of 7,063,808 samples analyzed.
The epidemiologist announced that, of the 8,312 patients, 360 were asymptomatic at the time of diagnosis, 8,235 have a source of infection in previously confirmed cases, 34 have a source of infection abroad and in 43 people the source of contagion is unknown . Native 8 278.
