China celebrates 70 years of sovereignty

On Beijing’s Changan Avenue, some 15,000 military men and women paraded lined up in 15 infantry formations, as well as 580 sets of armaments.
The president of China, Xi Jinping in his speech ratified his country’s commitment to the process of reform and openness and to the development of the nation in a peaceful manner.
He also said that no force can ever displace China from its current status, nor prevent its progress and that of its people, while urging citizens to unite to achieve the desired national revitalization.
The nation has made great contributions to the world thanks to concerted efforts and an arduous battle, to position itself as the second power of the planet, said Xi.
World leaders congratulated the Asian giant for the National Day of China.
