Why does Argentina prosecute Cristina Fernández?

This Thursday the confirmation was received by the Federal Chamber of Argentina of the prosecution, for alleged illicit association, of the president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. He was reached by telephone with his lawyer Gregorio Dalbón.

The current senator considers the process against her as a political and judicial persecution. The Argentine president is accused of alleged bribes, in the case known as Cuadernos de Centeno, where several officials and businessmen are involved.

During the process Cristina was seized 500 million pesos, about 40 million dollars. Federal judge Claudio Bonadío insists on the request for immunity from Senator Fernández de Kirchner.
