WHO criticizes hoarding of vaccines against Covid-19

In the global race to produce vaccines against Covid-19, the issue no longer seems to be who does it the fastest, but who monopolizes the most. The situation has been criticized by the World Health Organization, knowing that the richest countries are the main beneficiaries, buying the largest quantity of vaccines that will be produced this year. Canada, for example, has acquired enough doses to vaccinate its population five times, while the poorest regions of the planet will have to wait until mid-2022, or 2023, to achieve sufficient availability of vaccines.
