Turkey earthquake leaves at least 35 fatalities

The dead are up to 35 due to the strong earthquake that shook eastern Turkey last Friday and left more than 1,000 people injured, reports Turkish state broadcaster TRT. The agency also confirmed that the total number of aftershocks has so far been 533, and recalled that emergency teams continue to search and rescue victims trapped in the rubble of crumbling buildings in the center of the city of Elazig.
