Cuban doctors from Ecuador arrive in the country

In Ecuador we leave grateful, low-income patients, pending surgery and who cried for the abrupt departure of Cuban doctors, said Dr. Nivardo Rodríguez on his arrival today, to the Homeland, in the first group of collaborators from that nation.
The Cuban doctors arrived in the early hours of this Tuesday
At three o’clock this morning the plane landed at the Antonio Maceo International Airport, in Santiago de Cuba, with 173 specialists dressed in their own white coats that saved thousands of lives in intricate areas where medical specialties were not offered.
Born and raised in the province of Las Tunas, Rodríguez said that as an ophthalmologist he attended from 12 to 13 Ecuadorians daily, assisted with cataract, glaucoma and laser surgery, he even did so in the province of El Oro, in Machala, with the last clashes between the Ecuadorian Government and the indigenous.
The quality of health services to the Ecuadorian people will decrease
We are aware that the cessation of agreements with the Medical Mission of Cuba will have a negative impact on the health services of the Ecuadorian people, but unfortunately Moreno, its elected president who betrayed the principles of socialism, seems not to worry about this, the ophthalmologist said.
Mr. Hubert Matos Díaz, a specialist in Imaging, spoke on behalf of newcomers from Guayaquil, to reaffirm that Cuban health professionals are humanity, solidarity and brotherhood for the South American giant.
