Cuba reports 1129 cases of Covid-19, 7 deaths and 1229 discharges from clinics

There are 26,062 patients admitted for clinical epidemiological surveillance, 4,025 suspects, 16,239 under surveillance and 5,798 confirmed active. Cuba accumulates 4,417,769 of samples taken and 146,696 positive (3.32%).

At the close of this Thursday, June 3, Cuba reported 1,129 new cases of COVID-19 and seven deaths, as reported this Friday in his usual television appearance by Dr. Francisco Durán García, national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap ).

There are 26,062 patients admitted for clinical epidemiological surveillance, 4,025 suspects, 16,239 under surveillance and 5,798 confirmed active.

For COVID-19, 24,399 samples were studied, resulting in 1,129 positive. The country accumulates 4,417,769 samples made and 146,696 positive (3.32%).

On the 70th birthday of Dr. Durán García and 56 of the hero Gerardo Hernández Nordelo, this television broadcast recognized the dedication of the consecrated doctor and extended the Cuban President’s congratulations on his Twitter account and that of the Cuban people.

“The best gift they can give me is discipline and citizen awareness for the control of COVID-19, in compliance with the measures that must be carried out,” said Durán, thanking the samples of love received on his birthday.
