Celebrate International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer

This Monday marks the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer. In that context, Cuba expressed its commitment to improve energy efficiency in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.

According to the reporter Krystel Aspillaga, to celebrate this day, an event took place at the José Martí Memorial with the assistance of the United Nations Program representative, Maribel Gutiérrez, and the Director of the Ozone Technical Office, Nelson Espinosa.

During the meeting, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment and other national institutions of the tourism, industry and construction sector were recognized, who are qualified as entities free of depleting substances of the Ozone Layer.
