Venezuelan authorities and experts met this Thursday at a working table to analyze the failed maritime incursion plan of May 3.

The country’s executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, described the document as a “legal offense” that was intended to establish a mercenary war with clear connections to the US government. Rodríguez explained that these intentions were led by the opposition deputy Juan Guaidó. From the point of view of international law, the vice president stressed that these actions have a very dangerous dimension, by violating the United Nations Charter.
