Secret report uncovers Trump’s mistakes in managing the alleged “sonic attack” in Cuba

The State Department revealed errors and excesses of former President Donald Trump in handling the alleged sonic attack against his diplomats in Cuba. The newspaper El País revealed a secret report, recently declassified, where it clarifies that the closure of the embassy in Cuba, violated procedures.

The document reveals that the former president lacked evidence that Cuba was behind the mysterious health problems of its diplomats. He also questions the former Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, for NOT appointing a senior official as the general head of the investigation, and criticized “the excessive secrecy” of the CIA, which “delayed” the coordination of an adequate response.

Cuba, since the notification of the alleged events, carried out an investigation into the case and expressed to the US authorities its willingness to cooperate in the investigations to determine the possible causes of the incident.
