The Cuban ambassador in Russia, Gerardo Peñalver, and the governor of San Petersburgo, Georgui Poltavchenko, inaugurated this Wednesday an exposition dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the visit to the former Soviet Union of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz.

The exposition consists of 28 pictures of the Cuban plastic artist Yosvany Martinez, it includes several posters with original pictures of the historical visit of more than a month through several regions of the Euro Asiatic country.

The exhibition was already displayed in the regional parliament of Moscow and in the low Russian Chamber, with the support of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the second fraction in the legislation.
