Diaz Canel welcome the France Counselor

The president of the State Council and Ministers, Miguel Díaz Canel Bermúdez, welcome the minister to Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, your highness Jean Yves Le Drian who is now officially visiting Cuba.

In a cordial ambiance both part highlighted the good state of the bilateral relationship and expressed the will to continue to high level the political dialog. Likewise, they outlined the favorable development of the commercial, economic and cooperation relationship and acknowledged the growing role of French enterprises in different sectors of the Cuban economy like power, transportation, and construction. They dialogued besides about interest subjects of the international agenda.

The distinguished visitor was accompanied by the director of America and the Caribbean of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs Frederic Dore, the Counselor of Cultural Diplomacy, influence and Francophonie, Gaetan Bruel, and the ambassador of France in our country, Jean Marie Bruno.

For the Cuban part were present the Counselor Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, the Foreign Affair Minister and Foreign Investment Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz and the ambassador in France, Elio Rodriguez Perdomo.
