The vice president of Vietnam Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, confirmed the results of the Vietnam-Cuba cooperation project for rice production in areas of the Agroindustrial Grain Company “Los Palacios”.
Reported by Daimí Díaz Breijo, Vice President of Vietnam Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh congratulated the Cuban side for the results of the Cooperation Project between both nations. The fifth stage of the Project will be extended until 2023 with the objective of contributing to the increase of agricultural yield.
Provision of equipment and training for producers throughout the country
Meanwhile, the Vice Minister of Agriculture, Maury Hecheverría Bermúdez, thanked the Asian nation for its support to Cuban producers in the effort to achieve the sustainability of the rice program, by providing equipment and training to producers throughout the country.
The Vice President of Viet Nam has paid an official visit to the island since last Sunday.
