Ministry of Transportation: The obligation to stop at stops is for state vehicles
['Please Enter Your Name Here']
Date: None

The Ministry of Transportation clarifies that the obligation to stop at stops and boarding points is for vehicles belonging to state entities.

In coordination with the provincial governments, monitoring and confrontation will continue with the utmost rigor of the violations presented in this regard. Unfortunately, on March 2, the General Directorate of Provincial Transportation of Havana as part of this confrontation incorrectly published a list of vehicles belonging to religious and fraternal institutions, as well as to companies with foreign participation, which did not stop at the signal of inspectors to pick up passengers, without them having such an obligation as established.

This relationship was reproduced by several mass media. In general, the attitude of drivers of these entities and vehicles of the private sector is recognized and appreciated, which, without being obliged, contribute voluntarily to the transportation of the population, while urging the managers of state entities to fulfill the indicated.
