Latin America condemned blockade of the U.S against Cuba

The President of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto and the Equator´s, Lenin Moreno, were two of the officials to take the floor during the first hours of the high level debate in the General Assembly of United Nations.

While examining subjects of international interest, both officials condemned the blockade against Cuba in their speeches.

The Equator´s President, Lenin Moreno, with his speech in the General Assembly of the UN expressed his opposition to the U.S blockade against Cuba.

Moreno was the second State chief to take the floor during the debate taking the place in the list of the speakers which generally corresponds to the President of the U.S.

Enrique Peña Nieto also made a similar call

The debate of high level of the General Assembly started this Tuesday morning with one minute of silence in homage to the general ex secretary of the UN, Kofi Annan.

The actual Chief of the UN, Antonio Guterrez, offered in his words of opening a negative diagnose of the international situation.
